How to use your Altech UEC DSD4121/RV & DSR4639 Replacement Remote Control
NAS and Altech UEC have designed a remote control that can be used with all Altech UEC VAST set-top box and PVR models. When you first receive your replacement remote (RCU4UECSAT) you must reset your Altech UEC VAST set-top box or PVR. Once done, an old Altech UEC remote control will not operate your Altech UEC VAST set-top box or PVR.

UEC 4121RV PVR Activation
All new UEC4121RV VAST decoders are now supplied with a remote control unit (RCU) that is compliant with the 4121RVPVR. Should you have a non-PVR model (4121RV) and push the PVR button on the RCU, the unit will ask you for a 16-digit activation code to upgrade the unit to a PVR. You can easily deny this request by pushing the EXIT button on the RCU.
Should you wish to upgrade your 4121RV to enable PVR functionality, please contact your local installer/retailer, or email to purchase a PVR upgrade kit.
